Measuring principle


The YES507-3DPRO2300-ECO radar scanning robot is based on terahertz frequency modulation continuous wave FMCW ranging, and is driven by an internal horizontal rotation and elevation structure to rotate its radar sensor in multiple dimensions to scan the material bin and the material surface inside the bin with high resolution. When the radar sensor reaches a predetermined angle, it emits a microwave signal from its antenna. The microwave signal is reflected and received by the antenna after hitting the object to be measured, and then the radar sensor is run to the next predetermined angle to complete the measurement of the entire detection cycle, obtaining the level measurement information corresponding to each angle during the entire detection cycle. It emits 300 measurement signals for scanning and detection, drawing a realistic and accurate three-dimensional shape of the materials in the warehouse. Based on the three-dimensional coordinates, it calculates the lowest, highest, average, mass, and volume levels, and forms data reports at various times. Compared with 3D radar that emits measurement signals from several fixed angles or dozens of fixed angles, it greatly improves detection resolution and accuracy, making measurement data more accurate.


Comprehensive coverage of high and low positions without blind spots


For 3D radar scanners that emit measurement signals from several or dozens of fixed angles, when the material surface is low, there may be a situation where the measurement signals at some angles reach the side wall of the silo, resulting in a decrease in the measurement signals for detecting the surface level of the material and a reduction in effective measurement points. Moreover, when the material surface is high, there may be a relative concentration of measurement signals at various angles reaching the surface area of the material, causing no measurement signals outside the area and resulting in three-dimensional shape distortion. The installation opening size of YES507-3DPRO2300-ECO radar scanning robot can be as low as 190mm, which can minimize the impact of opening on the structural strength of the silo as much as possible. And the device is equipped with a status indicator light and a temperature sensor. The status indicator light can rotate with the rotating mechanism and emit different colors according to the working status of the device, making it convenient for staff to observe the status of the device at a glance; When the temperature sensor detects that the working environment temperature of the equipment is too high, it will stop the equipment to avoid irreparable faults and save after-sales costs. The upper computer interface can also remind the staff that the equipment has stopped working due to high temperature and requires manual intervention or attention to the on-site situation.


High reliability, strong compatibility, and installation self correction function


The YES507-3DPRO2300-ECO radar scanning robot adopts dual power supply and dual network port communication. The redundant design of communication and power supply improves the reliability of the equipment. In the event of a fault in one of the channels, another channel can be used.
